I just happened on your blog. My husband died totally unexpectedly a year ago on April 21st of last year. Grieving - it definitely is a process. I just wanted to encourage you. When you are ready and can, let God fill those broken places with His love. Ask Him to. He promises never to abandon us, and if you are anything like me in this point in time I need someone that understands and that will go through all this with me. God is the only One I know that can fill that need. It's hard, but you will make it. In time, look what God has ahead for you. He loves you so much.
I can only imagine how hard that was :( I know Andrew will take good care of it!! I know Mark is smiling knowing it is in such loving hands :)
ReplyDeleteWith each piece of your heart that goes, God will fill it back up over time.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are still with you, dear friend, as you continue this process.
p.s. I'm hosting a book giveaway at my book blog that might interest you.
