Here Goes
I am beginning something tonight
That I have avoided during the entire
4 years I have been blogging
Posting a photo of my whole self
Although I gained some weight during my adult years
I always had Mark to help keep me accountable
But since his passing 15 months ago
I have 'eaten myself under the table'
(as my pastor friend used to say)
6 months ago I hired a life coach
Who has been helping me in numerous ways
Emotionally, Spiritually and Physically
Although she has taught me so much
Regarding food choices
I clearly have not followed her advice
It is time for a change
Tonight I begin a new weekly series
Each Wednesday evening I will take a photo of myself
And journal how I have done 'health' wise during the past week
It is a way for me to stay accountable to myself
And you, my friends:)
So, my first photo is posted
Fairly sad commentary on my poor eating habits
But
A new day springs forth
In the AM
I hope you will join me in my journey
Through encouragement
By sharing your own weight loss/health stories
Or even by sharing recipes or tips on living a healthy lifestyle
Looking forward to our times together
Considering It All Joy,
Cindy
You're such an inspiration, Cindy. Thanks for sharing this.

You are beautiful and I will join you in your weight loss journey. I need to get active on a more routine basis and lose a few pounds too!
ReplyDeleteCindy, I am proud of your progress. I know this has been a difficult time. I can't even imagine. I am happy to read you have a life coach. Caring for yourself is so important right now. Because you are important. Sending love and hugs from Colorado, Tiff
ReplyDeleteYou can do this! Once you have a made up mind (and it seems you do), it's easier to stay the course.
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful!! You can do this, Cindy. Make small changes not huge sweeping ones. I used to work with a nutritionist and her advice to everyone was write down everything you eat. Most of us don't realize how MUCH we eat because it is a little bit here and a little bit there.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you.
I'm loving this. I am thinking of doing the same thing to follow your commitment and example. Not sure if I have the courage though...it's such a struggle for me and I'm really dealing with issues of how I see myself.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with the others...you are beautiful!
