Hi Sweet Friends,
Reality Tonight?
It was a long and emotional day
You get a variety of photos tonight
As I don't have the mental energy
To write an organized post
Or - Maybe that's just the norm around here
Reality Tonight?
It was a long and emotional day
You get a variety of photos tonight
As I don't have the mental energy
To write an organized post
Or - Maybe that's just the norm around here
Here is a photo that I had to retake from
Yesterday's post
The happy family is no longer a blur
This is part of my 'main' set this year
Each year I choose a different set
To spotlight and display in my entry
I'm keeping this sign on my entertainment center door
Not only do I want to keep Christmas in my heart
But the Joy of the Lord
Although my quilts are out most of the year
I think they are a bit Holiday{ish}
I purchased this sweet
Silver goblet with the bottle brush trees
All blinged up from Becky at Timewashed
Check her out on Etsy
Love her shop and love this special piece
I've purchased a few items from her shop
She's great to work with as well
My small collection of Christmas Books
Love to read them to the grand daughters
This time of year
I actually keep this cute couple out all year
My mom painted them years ago
And they make me smile
They live in the glass section of my entertainment center
Where I can see them all the time
AND ...
I've added another piece
To my GiveAway package
Be sure to go HERE to enter
Thank you so much for stopping by
As Always
I LOVE reading you comments
May you Be Blessed

Hi Cindy. Love your collection of Christmas. The snow men your mom painted are so cute and they hold such a special meaning to you. I sure do miss having a little one to read to..Happy Tuesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteThe past few days have been grey ones; in weather, heart and spirit. Probably because I have been ill as well. I am also decorating for the holidays a little each day and each piece holds memories, as my husband and I bought may of them together.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet Christmas bits and pieces! Jesus is our JOY, even when we feel down, He is always there to lift us gently up. His love surrounds us continually.

Sometimes, the "norm" is to just do what we are capable of doing & not being so hard on ourselves. I agree, quilts always look extra special this time of year.
ReplyDeleteOh sweet girl. You have such sweet thoughts about each decoration. That's what I love about Christmas. Each thing has a memory. Sometimes that is hard and yes, we cry. I know you miss your husband but I'm sure there is sweetness too in your memories. I'm going simple this year. I have 5 boxes unpacked and that's where they will stay. Hang in there and I pray for joy and peace in your Christmas.
ReplyDeleteCindy, I am so sorry that your day is been an emotional one...I hope your evening is much better. I love the quilts.. I am a fan of any old quilt. I absolutely love the "I will honor Christmas" sign.. love, love! Have a great evening. Blessings!
